Autumn full of inspiring conferences

Every year, our autumn programme includes visits to conferences and fairs. This year we were also part of extraordinary events such as Lean Summit Czechoslovakia, International Engineering Fair MSV Brno and CEE Automotive Supply Chain.

At the end of September, we experienced two days full of inspiration at Lean Summit Czechoslovakia, the largest event in Slovakia and the Czech Republic dedicated to continuous improvement. Martin Jančo, our CEO, was a speaker with a case study on Machine Vision and Artificial Intelligence in Logistics, in which he presented a Vision system based on object recognition. The system allows to replace multiple hardware sensors with a single camera and provides much more accurate detection capabilities while significantly reducing the cost of the technology used.

One of the ways to use the Vision system as a lean tool for work optimization could be tested by the participants directly at the event. At our stand we presented a new way of free-hand picking material - every movement of items in the warehouse was recorded just by image detection through the Vision system.

Lean Summit CZSK annually offers trends and the latest solutions not just in the field of automation. This year we again met a great community open to finding ways to operate more efficiently and we were proud to participate again as a Gold sponsor.

Another important event for us was the International Engineering Fair in Brno, where we exhibited under the auspices of the Slovak Agency for Investment and Trade Development (SARIO) in the Slovak National Pavilion. During the first week of October, visitors of the most important industrial fair in Central Europe had the opportunity to one more time personally experience our Vision system.

We demonstrated the system to both professionals and general public in a real-use environment of on a physical exhibit depicting a warehouse shelf. Visitors thus gained an interesting insight into the system of image and object recognition using artificial intelligence and standard cameras.

The week at MSV Brno also brought us interesting discussions and opportunities to establish several collaborations regarding the further development of our products. Simultaneously, we met with business partners and suppliers of solutions that we regularly implement in products for our customers. Among others, our stand was visited by the Minister of Economy, Karel Hirman, who was also impressed by the Vision system. The pleasure to explain and demonstrate its principles was all ours.

As many as 52,000 visitors attended this year's event, which is a significant increase compared to last year. We are extremely pleased that our products have appealed to all ages and captivated the general public. We are delighted to have been part of it again this year.

Members of the key organisations of Slovak and Czech automotive industry met the following week with European players at the fifth edition of the CEE Automotive Supply Chain 2022 conference in Žilina - and we couldn't miss it either.

On the occasion of the conference, our company was visited by the President of Automotive Industry Association of the Slovak republic (ZAP), Mr. Alexander Matušek. During our afternoon together, we presented to him our innovative logistics solutions that can optimize space, costs and logistics management at the level of the entire supply chain. The President appreciated the innovativeness of our products as well as our competence in supply chain management and understanding of the current needs of the industry.

ZAP's conferences are organized at a high level and focus on naming current challenges, finding solutions and encouraging collaboration between partners, not just within the supply chain. We look forward to future events.
